About Us
Welcome to “Dynamic Studio of Performing Arts” (DSPA), previously Gotta Dance and Unlimited Feet Performing Arts.

DSPA is owned by two sisters, Karena and Tina, who combined have over 60+ years of dance experience and have been running a dance company since 2005.
​
DSPA offers classes in Classical Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip-Hop and Contemporary. It also offers Acrobatics, Drama and Singing. Classes are offered to students from the age of two and a half through to mature adults. A "come dance with me" pre-school dance program is available for children 1-3 years of age which is the perfect introduciton to dance, music, rythm and imagination.
DSPA welcome students of all experience and abilities, from absolute beginner through to advanced. For those who wish to dance “just for fun”, we encourage to come and enjoy the classes. We also cater for those who wish to participate in examinations for Classical Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Theatrical and Performing Arts.

DSPA hosts mid-year displays, which showcase the exam and class work that the students have been learning. At the conclusion of each year, the “End of Year Production” gives the students the opportunity to perform onstage at the Hopgood Theatre, to showcase the wonderful routines and performances they’ve been working on during the year.

DSPA is located in Morphett Vale and has two separate dance areas, both fully equiped with safe flooring, mirrors, barres, air conditioning and equipment.

Jazz is a high energy dance that has a liveliness that sets it apart from other dance styles. At DSPA, Jazz students will explore the many varieties of Jazz dance styles, from musicals to funk to the boogie-woogies, that are danced to hits from the 50's right through to 2020's.

Meet the owners
Karena Viant
Hello. My name is Karena Viant and I am co-owner of Dynamic Studio of Performing Arts. I teach Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Acro and Funk classes, both exam and non-exam. I started dancing at the age of 4 and then moved to Ecole de Ballet at age 6. Ecole De Ballet then changed owners to become Unlimited Feet Dance Studio and I started my teaching career as a student teacher which lead to my own class at age 15. At 21 I took over Gotta Dance and became the owner and a teacher there, while still teaching at Unlimited Feet. During my time dancing I have competed in many competitions (choreography, solo, duo and troupe), completed many exams in different styles including my teachers exam. I have three beautiful children Emily 18, Nataya 13 and Thomas 9. Tina and I come from a large family (six of us kids) of which most of us are involved in the dance school including my sisters and our mum . My favourite style of dance is Tap. My dream from a very young age was to be a dance teacher, own a dance studio and share my love of dance.
Tina Cathro
Hello. My name is Tina Cathro and I'm co-owner of Dynamic Studio of Performing Arts. I started dancing at 2.5 years of age at Ecole de Ballet which then became Unlimited Feet. Over the years I have continued dancing with other studios, including Gotta Dance, and started teaching dance in 2007. During my years dancing I have completed my exams and have competed in many competitions both in SA and interstate. I love all styles of dance but Contemporary, Hip-Hop and Jazz are my favourite. I'm one of 6 kids - Miss Karena and Miss Leonie being my sisters. I'm married and have 2 children, Matthew (7) and Mia (1), who both love to dance, you may see them at the studio. I take care of most of the paper work at DSPA and teach Hip-Hop, Jazz and Contemporary classes on Mondays and Wednesdays.
